I had never belived all the stories, but one night while out camping, I discover the HARD way that the legend is all too real!
“Don’t go camping in the woods, this is Sasquatch country lady, people go into them there woods and they never come back. And let me tell you, there are a lot worse things than being eaten alive.”
So the guy behind the counter had said in the supply store. I had just rolled my eyes and said, “Yeah yeah mister.” How could people believe this stuff in the twenty first century? This was the age of information and technology, surely if Bigfoot existed it would have been definitively proved by now.
So here I was, in the middle of the woods, owls hooting, crickets chirping, the moonlight bathing my tent as I lay there with my eyes open, thinking about what time I should set off tomorrow. I had a long way to hike. Should I…
What was that? A huge, hulking silhouette had suddenly appeared just outside my tent. My heart went into overdrive as a shiver ran up my spine.
I lay there, unable to move as the enormous shape moved toward my tent with thudding footsteps, then the most ear splitting bestial roar I had ever heard filled the air.
