My 18-year-old daughter, Donna, had some serious mental issues. Probably bi-polar and maybe some other things. I felt sorry for the poor girl, but ever since my wife left - and left me to care for her - I just couldn't do it.

My 18-year-old daughter, Donna, had some serious mental issues. Probably bi-polar and maybe some other things. I felt sorry for the poor girl, but ever since my wife left - and left me to care for her - I just couldn't do it.

She was too much.

In a last ditch attempt to reclaim some kind of normalcy, I sent her to a hypnotherapist...

Donna's therapist was a miracle worker. He worked with her tirelessly to bring her back to my little girl. Well, she wasn't little anymore, she was now a full-fledged young woman.

When he handed me the keys to her mental kingdom, what I didn't know was that he replaced her anger and hate with love. Submissive, adoring, sexual love.

When I realized what he'd done, I seethed. But I didn't have time to seethe long, Donna had just come in from her fast food job and was livid.

I could see all the signs - she was about to break.

This was my test!

The therapist had given me the exact coin he used and taught me exactly how to use it.

"Hey, baby!" I said, trying to cheer her up with my voice.

"Ugh!" Donna slammed the door, threw off her stupid work hat and stormed off to her room.

Holding the shiny coin in my fingers, I quickly followed her up to her room and shoved my foot in the door before she could slam it.

Ouch!

"Daddy, go away!" She cried out, her features darkening.

"No, I need to show you something." I insisted, pushing the door fully open.

"Can't it wait until later?" She growled.

I winced at her anger. But showed her the coin, hoping with all I had that it would work.

"What's that?" She glanced down at it.

This was a good sign. He planted the thought that she would never recognize it. AND that she'd always be exquisitely curious every time she saw it.

Donna's pretty blue eyes went wide as she stared down at the coin, her eyes transfixed.

I began moving it through my fingers just like the therapist had taught me.

I said nothing until I knew she was starting to fall for it.
