I was just taking my early morning jog in the park when I felt a strange sensation come over me. Without understand why, I had been compelled to kneel on all fours and begin barking and wagging my “tail.”
This was strange, but I found myself unable to contemplate much of anything. All I knew was, I needed to do what this strange dog “told” me. I couldn’t fight back. I couldn’t resist. I was his.

It was Saturday and the park was packed, busy with people enjoying the sunny weather and enjoying their leisure time with one another.
I was in college and living in a dorm, with family half way across the country, so while I couldn't spend this beautiful weekend with anyone but myself, it didn't slow me down one bit.
I decided to go for a jog. I grabbed my music player, got into my jogging gear, and hit the park, ready to have a fun start to my three day weekend.
It was quite sunny out, and quite hot, so starting on the western end, I stayed on the shade covered path to keep a bit cooler.
I set a good pace, pumped up the music and let myself go, zoning out as I jogged along the trail.
Running felt so good, the wind in my face, the shade was perfect and the trail was a nice and easy one too.
The trail was quite long, and while a lot of trees covered it, there were stretches that opened up and showed long stretches of green.
READ MOREI had made half a circuit when I felt a strange presence, looking around, I saw no one behind me and no one towards the side, yet it felt like someone or something was watching me.
I laughed it off, it was just my over-active imagination and love of horror movies. This was real life and i wasn't going to get attacked by some kind of roaming monster.
Turning the corner, I started to pick up my pace again only for that strange sensation to be felt again and I looked back, thinking I was going crazy.
Instead of some stalker or monster from my imagination, though, it was just a dog. And while it was big, it looked friendly enough, its tongue panting a little bit, probably wanting some water
I ran up to it and smiled warmly at him, it looked friendly despite being so big.
It was a German Shepherd and it looked quite thirsty, so I opened up my water bottle and let him half a drink, pouring it out and letting him lap what he could.
He looked quite happy to have some water and he licked and lapped at it till I had to stop and leave some water for myself.
"Such a good boy. What's your name, huh?" I asked, looking for a collar or a tag of some kind.
No collar, but it also didn't look like a stray. Still, it was a bit odd him being in the park like this.
Before I could think, the dog was walking through a patch of woods and I found myself following him.
I didn't know why, I couldn't really think of a reason I should follow the dog, but I was anyway.
At that moment, my mind became a bit foggy, and it was getting a bit harder to think of anything.
