I don't exactly know where Buddy, my German Shepherd, got hold of the pill, all I know is that he's now constantly in my mind and making me do things that are highly inappropriate.
It all started one fine Saturday afternoon. I'd just come home from taking Buddy for a walk. I didn't see him gulp down any mysterious pills, but you know dogs...
It was right as I started making dinner that I heard a voice in my head.
"Steak." Was all the voice said. At first, I thought I was imagining things, but then the voice kept repeating. "Steak, steak, steak, steak, steaaaaaaaak."
At this point, it was obvious what the source of the voice was, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
"Buddy, is that you? Where are you anyway?" I asked the empty room, and I got an answer.
"Upstairs." Was the only word. I shrugged and figured I might as well indulge my dog.
Without thinking any further on the subject, I got out a couple of steaks - one for each of us.

Fifteen minutes later, I was standing over the kitchen sink when Buddy walked in, looking smug. "You're going to serve me my dinner." He said, and without a moment's hesitation, I was putting the steak on a plate and putting it in front of him.
"What about me?" I whined. Why was I obeying my own dog?
"Serve me first, and I'll see if you deserve anything." He replied, and I couldn't argue.
What was going on? Why was I suddenly hearing my dog's voice in my head? And why did I feel so strangely compelled to obey him?
I watched with envy, my stomach grumbling, as he ate up the entire steak, then proceeded to lick the plate clean.
"So? What's for dessert?" He asked.
